Director of Staff Development

This DSD course is designed for LVNs or RNs to prepare licensed nurses to become DSD in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or as a CNA instructor.
This course will cover planning, implementing, and evaluating nurse education program. The participant will learn how to develop a course outline, maintain records, create lesson plans, develop training plans, and how to conduct classes or training.
This course meets the requirement in section 71892 from Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations which states "within six (6) months of employment and prior to teaching a certification program, the Director of Staff Development or instructor shall obtain a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education courses in planning, implementing, and evaluating of educational programs in nursing.
This DSD course is self taught via online platform. It includes presentation of topic in nursing assistant training program.

We give NO refund for any cancellation.

However, students may re-schedule their class.
No Call / No Show Policy

Students must notify us via email at least 24 hours prior to course date to re-schedule their course.

Failure to show on a course date without prior notice will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.

Arriving 15 minutes late is considered a no-show without notice and will be treated as a cancellation.
One-Time Reschedule Policy
​Students may reschedule once, at least 2 days prior to their original course date.
Only one reschedule is allowed — no exceptions.
Please email us to reschedule, phone rescheduling will NOT be accepted, no exemption.
